Attorney-at-Law Shantha Niriella has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authority.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Authority since 2005.
Maj. Gen. Shantha Dissanayake, who was the Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authority, resigned from his post on the 17th.
